Anesthesia Technicians Assistant
Position Overview
Responsible for supporting anesthesiologists and other medical staff in providing safe and effective anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical and medical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist anesthesiologists in preparing and administering anesthesia to patients.
- Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment, ensuring all devices are functioning properly and sterile.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels during procedures, reporting any changes to the anesthesiologist.
- Assist in the positioning of patients for anesthesia and surgical procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of anesthesia administration and patient responses.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
- Participate in the training and orientation of new staff and students.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure a smooth workflow in the operating room.
- Stay updated on the latest anesthesia techniques and technologies.
Qualifications
- Completed training as an Anesthesia Technician or a related field.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in anesthesia or surgical services.
- Strong understanding of anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in German and English (both written and spoken).
