"We are looking for an Assessment Specialist with strong expertise in candidate evaluation, document verification, and language testing. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy of candidate files, conducting competency and cultural fit assessments, and supporting relocation processes with precise and reliable evaluations."

Position Overview

The Assessment Specialist functions as the quality officer for the Customer Preparation Unit, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all files and outputs, and verifying the credibility of each candidate’s claims. This role conducts language assessments (English and German), personality and cultural fit evaluations, personal interviews, and thoroughly audits candidates’ CVs and experience documents. By doing so, the Assessment Specialist ensures that all submitted and outgoing documents meet company standards and legal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Quality Control: Reviewing and auditing all candidate files and documents to guarantee accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
  • Verification: Validating CV details, qualifications, and supporting documents to ensure authenticity and reliability.
  • Assessments: Administering language tests (English & German), competency evaluations, and cultural fit assessments to measure adaptability to German work culture.
  • Interviews: Conducting structured interviews to evaluate soft skills, professional competencies, and alignment with organizational requirements.
  • Reporting: Documenting assessment outcomes, maintaining organized records, and preparing comprehensive evaluation reports for management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Updating assessment procedures in line with evolving recruitment practices and collaborating with team members to enhance consistency and efficiency.

Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in assessment, recruitment or quality management, preferably in a multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in both English and German, with the ability to conduct language assessments.
  • Knowledge of modern assessment tools (competency and personality tests).
  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
  • High attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information and compliance with standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to conduct interviews and engage with candidates professionally.
  • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Strong ethics and a commitment to confidentiality and impartiality.

  • Attention to detail with a high standard for reviewing documents.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data protection best practices.
  • Multilingual capabilities (German /A1-A2/- and English /B1- B2/ required; additional languages an advantage)
