Position Overview
The Consulting Manager (Sales Manager) is a senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic market expansion, effective sales process management, and high-performing team leadership. This position oversees the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract handover, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and exceptional client experience. The role requires a dynamic leader with proven sales management experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to align sales activities with the company’s strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- 1. Sales Strategy Development:
Set annual and quarterly targets aligned with company goals, Implement strategies to expand market share, and Focus on high-potential sectors and adjust plans as needed. - 2. Team Leadership and Performance Management:
Lead and mentor the sales team to meet objectives, Conduct regular reviews and coaching sessions, and Foster accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. - 3. Pipeline and Forecast Management:
Manage lead distribution to optimize conversions, Ensure accurate CRM updates and reliable forecasts, and Report variances and performance to management. - 4. High-Level Negotiations and Key Account Management:
Lead major deal negotiations and manage key clients, Strengthen long-term partnerships and Resolve complex client issues effectively. - 5. Process Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulations ,Audit sales data for accuracy and integrity and Promote consistent best practices across the team. - 6. Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis:
Monitor market trends and competitor activities, Adjust strategies based on insights to maintain competitiveness, Identify new opportunities and potential risks. - 7. Cross-Departmental Alignment:
Collaborate with Marketing on lead generation and branding, Coordinate with Operations for smooth client onboarding, Work with Finance on pricing, invoicing, and payments. - 8. KPI Monitoring and Continuous Improvement:
Track and analyze team KPIs to identify improvement areas, Shorten sales cycles and increase win rates, Recommend system and process enhancements for efficiency.
Desirable
- - Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- - Experience in the relocation, recruitment, or professional services sectors.
- - Multilingual capabilities (German and English required; additional languages an advantage).
Must Have
- - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- - Minimum 7 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in B2B environments.
- - Strong leadership, team-building, and coaching skills.
- - Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities.
- - Proficiency in CRM platforms (Odoo preferred) and MS Office Suite.
- - Understanding of GDPR and
other data protection regulations.
