Cyber Security Consultant
Position Overview
Ensuring the security and integrity of clients’ information systems. Your expertise in cybersecurity practices and tools will be instrumental in identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and responding to incidents effectively.
Responsibilities

Assess and enhance the security posture of client organizations by conducting
comprehensive security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Utilize security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS),
antivirus software, and vulnerability scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, Qualys) to monitor and
protect networks

Analyze and understand network protocols, security architectures, VPNs, and encryption
methods to safeguard sensitive information.

Implement threat modeling and penetration testing methodologies to identify potential
security weaknesses and recommend appropriate countermeasures.

Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with teams to address and mitigate security
breaches or incidents promptly.

Develop and implement risk management strategies to evaluate, prioritize, and mitigate
risks associated with information security.

Stay current with industry best practices, emerging threats, and technologies to provide
clients with the most effective cybersecurity solutions.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency with security tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus software, and vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus or Qualys.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, security architectures, VPNs, and encryption techniques.
- Knowledge of threat modeling, penetration testing, incident response, and risk management practices.

3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, encompassing security analysis, incident
response, and consulting.
