We’re seeking an Digitalization Manager  to lead the company’s digital transformation strategy and oversees the development of the Odoo ERP system to ensure it meets departmental needs, protects data, and maintains system stability 


Position Overview

The Digitalization Manager leads DastN’s digital transformation strategy, overseeing the development and optimization of the Odoo ERP system to ensure departmental needs are met, data is protected, and system stability is maintained. This role focuses on improving operational efficiency, driving process automation, and enabling data-driven decision-making in alignment with the company’s strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  •  Coordinate with department managers, external stakeholders, vendors, and cloud service providers to implement digital transformation projects.
  •  Analyze requirements, plan, and implement customized Odoo ERP solutions, ensuring compliance with laws and policies (data privacy and European compliance).
  •  Manage the entire system lifecycle from setup to full deployment, including development, integration with other systems, and acceptance testing.
  •  Lead customization and development processes (internally or through partners or independent developers) and maintain system stability and integration with various external tools.
  • Attend and manage freelancers and software companies for specialized tasks; monitor automation processes and analyze workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Train employees (both managers and end users) on effective system use and prepare training materials.
  • Develop the company website and all ERP-related applications, monitor data security, and implement backup policies. 
  • Preparing periodic reports for senior management on project progress, resource requirements, and improvement proposals.

Must Have

  •  Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in digital transformation, ERP management (preferably Odoo), or IT project management.
  • Proven Odoo ERP implementation and system integration experience.
  • Project management and leadership abilities to oversee cross-departmental initiatives. 
  •  Attention to detail and high commitment to system reliability and data protection.
  • Adaptability and innovation in applying new digital tools and solutions.
  • Excellent training and presentation skills to support user adoption.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  •  Experience in multinational or technology-driven organizations.
  • Effective communication and coordination abilities across teams

Preferred Skills

  •  Master’s degree in Information Systems, Business Informatics, or Digital Transformation Management.
  •  Certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, Odoo Functional Consultant).
  •  Experience with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and API integration.
  • Familiarity with web development tools (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python).
  • Strong knowledge of GDPR and European compliance frameworks.
  • Multilingual capabilities (B1/B2 in German and C1 in English required; other languages are advantageous)
