Position Overview

Providing technical support and assistance to users, ensuring that their IT systems operate efficiently. Your expertise in various operating systems and problem-solving skills will be essential in delivering high-quality support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to users for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring timely resolution of problems.
  • Administer and support various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux, to maintain optimal performance and user satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, documenting solutions and maintaining accurate records in the ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify recurring issues and contribute to the development of solutions and improvements in support processes.
  • Assist in the implementation of IT projects and initiatives, providing support during system upgrades and migrations.
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends to enhance skills and improve support services.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is beneficial, though not always mandatory. Vocational training or an apprenticeship in IT or a related field is also highly valued in Germany.
  • Graduates from a technical school or with a Fachinformatiker (IT Specialist) certification are also well-regarded.
  • Proficiency in administering and supporting various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Typically,2-5 years of experience in IT support or a similar role is preferred. This experience should include direct user support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
