IT Support Specialist
Position Overview
Providing technical support and assistance to users, ensuring that their IT systems operate efficiently. Your expertise in various operating systems and problem-solving skills will be essential in delivering high-quality support.
Responsibilities

Provide technical support to users for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring
timely resolution of problems.

Administer and support various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux,
to maintain optimal performance and user satisfaction.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, documenting solutions and maintaining
accurate records in the ticketing system.

Collaborate with team members to identify recurring issues and contribute to the
development of solutions and improvements in support processes.

Assist in the implementation of IT projects and initiatives, providing support during system
upgrades and migrations.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends to enhance skills and improve support services.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is beneficial, though not always mandatory. Vocational training or an apprenticeship in IT or a related field is also highly valued in Germany.
- Graduates from a technical school or with a Fachinformatiker (IT Specialist) certification are also well-regarded.
- Proficiency in administering and supporting various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Typically,2-5 years of experience in IT support or a similar role is preferred. This experience should include direct user support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
