IT User Supervisor
Position Overview
In this role, you will oversee the IT support team, ensuring that users receive exceptional technical assistance and support. Your leadership and technical expertise will be crucial in maintaining efficient IT operations and enhancing user satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the IT support team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality service delivery to users
- Monitor and evaluate support operations, establishing performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify user needs and develop strategies to meet
those requirements through effective IT solutions.
- Ensure that the team effectively resolves technical issues related to hardware, software,
networking, and security in a timely manner.
- Implement and maintain IT policies and procedures to align with organizational goals while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Stay abreast of the latest technologies and trends in IT to drive continuous improvement in
support services and user experience.
Must Have
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years in Odoo ERP implementation, with proven experience in workflow analysis and ERP integration.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of Odoo modules (CRM, HR, Accounting, Inventory, etc.), and customization using XML, Python, or JavaScript.
- Project Management: Ability to lead full ERP implementation cycles.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and adaptability.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is generally preferred. Relevant vocational training (e.g., Ausbildung in IT or a related discipline) with significant experience may also be accepted.
- Formal training in management or leadership, such as a diploma or certification in IT management, is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, including hardware, software, networking, and security, with hands-on experience in IT support typically required.
- Typically, 5-7 years of experience in IT support roles, with at least2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
