Security Architect
Position Overview
Designing and implementing secure systems, networks, and applications to protect our organization from evolving cyber threats. Your expertise in security architecture and principles will play a critical role in ensuring that security posture remains robust.
Responsibilities

Design and implement comprehensive security architectures that address the
organization’s needs and align with industry standards and best practices.

Develop and enhance security frameworks for systems, networks, and applications,
ensuring they are resilient to current and emerging threats.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls and principles into
the software development lifecycle and other operational processes.

Provide expert guidance on Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and
technologies, including multi-factor authentication and role-based access control.

Conduct security assessments and risk analysis to identify vulnerabilities in architectures
and recommend effective remediation strategies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and influence security strategy.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or specialized security education are highly valued.
- Deep understanding of security architecture principles, including the design and implementation of secure systems, networks, and applications.
- Strong understanding of IAM principles and technologies, specifically multi-factor authentication and access controls.
- Typically, 5-10 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with at least3-5 years in a senior or architecture-focused capacity. Experience in designing and implementing security solutions is crucial.
