Speech Therapist
Position Overview
Possessing a solid foundation in speech-language pathology and a desire to help individuals of all ages improve their communication skills. You will work with clients facing various speech and language disorders, providing tailored therapy sessions to meet their specific needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client goals.
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to support clients' communication needs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
- Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in speech therapy practices.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Valid professional license to practice as a Speech Therapist in Germany.
- Minimum of2 years of experience in a clinical or educational setting.
- Proficiency in assessing and treating a wide range of speech and language disorders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Fluency in German and English (additional languages are a plus).
